This is a vintage US Army colonel's wool coat dated 1940. Just prior to WWII, the wool "Mackinaw" jacket was custom made by Max Wax for Colonel T.L. Ferenbaugh at Fort Ethan Allen in Vermont. Classic double breasted jacket with pockets at waist and single split in back.
CONDITION
In good condition with wear consistent with age and use. Some moth wear to the wool in spots.
